Getting there
By air

Zagreb International Airport - Pleso(14km southeast of the city) is well linked to all major European cities. Low cost carriers offer the best budget bets from UK, France and Germany.

By car

Feel like driving? Within Croatia, motor-way travel is subject to a toll system, although this is relatively cheap by Western European standards. Tolls can be paid by card or cash.

Renting a car in Croatia is a great way to get around. All the major car rental companies are represented in Croatia but you'll often get a better deal booking a rental car on line. Avoid driving in the city especially during rush hours.

By train

It may not be glamorous as during the Orient Express times but trains are still fantastic way to travel. Zagreb Gl. Kolodvor is Zagreb's central train station, quite busy during the summer season.

By bus

Relatively cheap and relatively fast.

Brokenships Café
Café

After an emotional rollercoaster caused by the exhibition, what better place to gather your thoughts than the cozy Brokenships Café?

With its inviting atmosphere, colorful summer terrace, and cool music beats blending seamlessly with the gentle hum of the espresso machine brewing Julius Meinl coffee, our café offers the comfort you need to unwind. If your visit brings you to us during winter, there’s no better feeling than shaking off the cold and fog into a warm cup of mulled wine, enriched with the finest notes of cinnamon and cloves.

Sometimes, nothing soothes a heavy heart like a sweet treat. Our selection of cakes is sure to do the trick. Enjoy a rich chocolate mousse, or savor our passion fruit cheesecake, with its tangy twist that brightens even the grayest days.

Each creation is made by the residents of the Reto Center rehabilitation program under the mentorship of recognized Croatian pastry chef Petra Jelenić, who by passing on her professional knowledge, gives them the opportunity to ensure their livelihood by returning to the workforce.

So, whether you’re seeking warmth on a winter's day or a sweet escape after a heart-tugging experience, the Brokenships Café is here to welcome you.
