Tristan Bates Theatre are delighted to present the Museum of Broken Relationships. This autumn, the West End's most daring venue is transforming itself into the capital's most exciting exhibition space, becoming the hub of what will be a sprawling multi-site experience encompassing the whole of Seven Dials.
“I had the incredible good fortune to experience the Museum of Broken Relationships in November whilst producing one of the Tristan Bates Theatre’s international shows in Zagreb. Despite the museum’s name, the exhibition is full of hope, life, resilience and inspiration.”
Laura Kriefman, Creative-Producer.
We need artifacts of your past relationships, from the mundane to the bizarre...To donate an object click here. The Tristan Bates Theatre will be accepting donations between May 30th- July 4th, from 10 am - 9pm, Monday to Saturdays.
The aim is not only to host the Museum, but to create a three week festival with the Museum and its objects as the focal point. The festival will include community engagement projects, providing local people with the opportunity to explore and develop their artistic potential; the commissioning of artists to respond to the locally donated objects; and public performances of theatre, poetry, dance, art and song both in the TBT and around the Seven Dials area. Join our Wefund campaign and with your support we can bring the Museum to London and put a British stamp on it.
